Wednesday, August 12th, 2009

BREAKING NEWS!!!

A combination of Acai and Colon Cleansers can help you lose weight fast!

Step 1: Acai Pure (Risk Free Trials Available)

Step 2: Colon Cleanse Elite (Risk Free Trials Available)

Before you ask your doctor for a prescription for Xenical, consider acai berry for weight loss as both Xenical and acai perform similar functions and yield similar results.

Xenical (and it’s over-the-counter alternative, Alli) are weight loss drugs that operate by impeding the digestive system from being able to digest dietary fat. This function is often called being a “fat blocker”. The fat a person eats that is blocked from being digested and, likely, deposited as more fat storage, the person eliminates with the rest of their waste.

Well, acai berry for weight loss is a fat blocker too. But unlike Xenical and Alli, it is more than that too. Acai berry for weight loss also increases the metabolism making for quicker, easier, and more thorough calorie burning, and it suppresses the appetite while providing the necessary nutrition the body needs that it may not otherwise get when you diet.

University of Florida Studies Back Acai Berries Health Claims

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Most people who’ve heard of acai berries knows that both of Oprah Winfrey’s good doctors–Dr. Nicholas Perricone (a dermatologist) and Dr. Mehmet Oz (a heart surgeon) gave it their thumbs up for being “one of the most nutrtitious and powerful fruits in the world.” But some people require more convincing than that.

So next time anyone throws doubt your way about the true health benefits of acai berries (clearer skin and a stronger, cleaner cardiovascular system notwithstanding), throw these facts back at them:

A University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences study found that the antioxidants in açai berry extract were effective in destroying human cancer cells and that they triggered a response in leukemia cells that had 86% of them self-destruct.

What’s more, a follow-up to that study, conducted in 2008, found that the human body easily absorbs the antioxidants contained in acai berries benefits.

How Resveratrol in Acai Berries Helps You Lose Weight

Wednesday, June 10th, 2009

The acai berry has long been touted as a superfood and a weight loss aid, but only recently has one of its most powerful ingredients been brought to light. Ever since investigation into the famous French Paradox of poor diets and long life-expectancies revealed the existence in red wine grapes of an antioxidant called resveratrol, acai berries are being given a second look by many health advocates and dieticians.

The way resveratrol keeps people living long and looking and feeling young is by helping the cells of the body fight off toxins and free radicals. The cells need energy to do this, and so the body provides them the energy they need by burning fat. So this same function of resveratrol that helps peole live long and look and feel young also helps people shed weight fast, without the need for further dieting or exercise.

You’d have to drink an awful lot of red wine to get the resveratrol you need to lose weight. But acai berries naturally contain large concentrations of resveratrol. And, since acai berries are already a multifaceted weight loss aid, the presence of resveratrol is a good and appropriate match.

Why Acai Berry Supplements Are More Effective At Weight Loss and Better For You Than Fat Blocker

Monday, May 25th, 2009

Diet pills come in essentially three different types – there are fat blockers, there are metabolic boosters, and there are appetite suppressants. To see why acai berry products are better than any one of these types of weight loss products by themselves, let’s examine just one type: fat blockers. And we’ll see how effective it is by itself.

The concept of a fat blocker (often called a starch blocker or a carbohydrate blocker) is that it deceives the body into converting more of the calories eaten into energy or (if exercising) muscle tissue than fat. The science behind that little act of trickery isn’t important. What is important is that taking fat blockers also tends to deceive most people’s brains (on a psychological level, that is) into believing that they can now eat whatever they want, and as much of it, because the ingredients in the pills will keep it all from turning into fat.

What ends up happening when people behave this way in response to taking fat blockers is that they often experience diarrhea and indigestion, and sometimes headaches too because these fatty foods that aren’t being used in the way they’re generally used are even more difficult to digest than they already would be naturally had these people not been taking a fat blocker.

In addition, continuing to eat junk food just because you’re on a fat blocker only continues to deprive your body of nutrients, causing to crave more food – thus perpetuating a terrible cycle that keeps you locked into ill health, low energy, and little change in weight.

Acai berries contain more than just a fat blocker, but are all three types of weight loss products rolled into one, plus a comprehensive source of total daily nutrition too.

Top 2 Ways To Get The Most Out Of An Acai Berry Weight Loss Program

Monday, May 18th, 2009

For the most effective use of acai berries for weight loss, there are several steps you can take to maximize your success. Here are two of the best ways to get the most out of your acai berry weight loss plan:

1. Time it appropriately – Timing is everything, they say. And they’re not kidding. The difference between succeeding in your weight loss efforts and failing can be as simple as choosing the proper time to start your weight loss program. If you’re about to face a significant amount of stress – school finals, an impending deadline at work, travel, family illness, etc. – then now might not be the best time to try to lose weight. The best way to make the most of acai berries for losing weight is to schedule your planned weight loss program for a time when you can most easily follow it through. Wait until you have enough time in your daily routine to commit to your weight loss program without interruption, undue stress, or extenuating circumstances. If now is not the time, don’t worry about it. It’ll be worth the wait.

2. Take a gradual approach – Many people go on crash diets and intensive weight loss regimens out of desperation to lose that unwanted weight now. But that’s merely a recipe for gaining all that weight right back after the program is completed, even if it is successful. And it wreaks havoc on the body. Be gentle with your body. If you’re planning on undergoing a significant lifestyle change in order to maximize the effectiveness of your acai berry weight loss plan – such as starting an exercise routine, or eliminating certain detrimental foods from your diet – make changes a little at a time. Don’t do it all at once. You’re liable to throw your whole system into shock (even if just figuratively speaking). Go easy on yourself, make changes a little at a time, and you’ll see results that actually last.

Lose Weight With An Acai Berry Cleanse

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

Everywhere you look online is another site full of testimonials proclaiming how great, easy, and effective an acai berry cleanse is at helping people lose weight.

An acai berry cleanse can be conducted in one of two ways – either by using acai berry supplements alone (as they have inordinate cleansing benefits all their own) or by using acai berry supplements in combination with a second, colon cleanse supplement.

However you do it you’re likely to notice results within a very short time.

The point of an acai berry cleanse, however you do it, is to help you lose weight by scraping off the toxic walls of buildup on the insides of your large intestines that make them stretch and bulge out so drastically and unnaturally, contributing to a surprising bulk of the weight most people – especially overweight or obese people – wish to lose.

Just like you wuld want to clean out your clogged and hardened arteries from buildup up cholesterol as much as you can to maintain a healthy heart and cardiovascular system, so should you clean out your colon of all that waste built up over time, and not only help you lose unwanted, unsightly pounds, but can help improve your overall digestive health dramatically as well.

So consider an acai berry cleanse for losing weight, not only your body fat, but that other unmentionable excess weight around your middle as well. Potential side benefits might include better mood and outlook on life, more confidence, a clearer complexion, more energy, and better-smelling breath.

Acai Berries & Resveratrol for Weight Loss

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Acai berries and purple grapes have a lot in common. Both are said to have anti-aging properties, powerful cancer fighting potential, and are good for the cardiovascular system, the nervous system, and the digestive system (among others). What’s more, they both contain a high concentration of powerful antioxidants, the antioxidant in purple grapes being called resveratrol. Resveratrol is particularly good for the heart specifically, and the very reason why proponents of red wine say that it is so good for the heart).

Resveratrol is also contained (albeit in smaller quantities) in the skin and peel of other foods, like mulberries, peanuts, certain seeds, and honeybee propolis.

In addition to being beneficial for the skin and the heart, and for its purported anti-aging properties in general, resveratrol is also said to have weight loss benefits in that it helps boost energy levels and metabolism, decreasing the craving to eat and increasing the motivation to exercise (or at least remain more active).  These are great acai berry weight loss tools.

Acai Berry Recipes for Weight Loss

Friday, March 27th, 2009

As the acai berry trend continues to skyrocket, more and more dieticians and “foodies” are coming up with delicious and delectable recipes for healthy, low-fat or fat-free dishes and meals containing as one of their prime ingredients, acai berry juice, pulp, or puree.

It was a recipe for Salmon with Acai from Zuba Grill posted on a FOX News subsidiary website where this was first brought to our attention. But as soon as we followed up on this discovery with a simple Google search, we discovered that acai berry weight loss recipes are everywhere.

If you haven’t tried it yet, acai berry tastes great with fish, adding a fresh chocolatey and wine-like flavor without needing to consume any chocolate or wine. If you don’t like salmon, you can try adding acai berry juice, pulp, or puree to tilapia, sole, snapper, trout, or any other of your favorite fish. It goes great with meats, from beef to chicken to pork.

And if you’re a vegetarian, then try adding acai berry juice into a scrumptious homemade salad dressing, or tossing acai berries themselves in with the salad.

Other ingredients that go great with acai berry recipes are lime juice, coconut, mint, agave, and vanilla.

There are also several recipes for traditional Brazilian bowls comprised of acai berry juice, pulp, or puree, along with other fruits and fruit juices (like mango, apple, etc.) and honey, often topped with granola and bananas.

Long gone are the days when the only acai berry weight loss recipes you could find online were for shakes and smoothies (though those are still delicious and effective too!). Now it’s coming clear you can add acai berry juice, pulp, or puree to add flavor and weight-reducing properties to almost any dish.
